1. Skills from Accredited and Professional IT courses which employers value

You have just completed eleven professional and accredited IT courses that can now be listed as skills on your CV. These are professional and accredited IT courses that follow the official framework and module outline. But more importantly the IT courses you study are directly matched to the skills and keywords employers are looking for. Also IT Certify are a CompTIA authorised partner. This is important as it means that due to the IT courses being professional and accredited they have value to employers. If the IT courses you are studying are not professional and accredited then unfortunately they have no value when you add them to your CV.

2. Official CompTIA A+ exams recognised world wide

You have just passed the CompTIA A+ exams which are world class qualifications and your passport to get into IT. Passing the CompTIA A+ exams alone secures you a salary of anywhere between £25k to £35k in your first year. You are not just limited to working in the UK either. CompTIA are the biggest vendor neutral exam Award Body in the world and their qualifications are recognised world wide.

3. Unlimited Mock Test Support and your own CompTIA Authorised Teacher

The CompTIA A+ exams are entry level but they cover literally everything in IT. The pass marks required to pass the exams are also high requiring 75% for the CompTIA A+ Core 1 exam and 78% for the CompTIA A+ Core 2 exam.

We do not limit the Mock Test support (ie if you don’t pass in two or three attempts you are off the course). IT Certify are proud to be different as when you are new to a qualification you don’t know how many Mock Tests you may need and neither do we.

We also know every student is different and some students may not require many Mock Tests at all. But then other Students may need a few more than others. This is why we provide unlimited personalised Mock Test support to students and we are the only Professional Education Provider based in London, UK that offer this.

Unlimited Mock Test support is absolutely crucial as before we put you forward for the real exams we will ensure that you are already hitting 85% with us (twice). This way when it comes to taking the real exams you already understand how CompTIA want you to think and on top of that you are going into the exams already hitting 8-10% over and above what is required. As a result the unlimited Mock Test support means that it doesn’t matter whether you need 3, 5, 10 or even more Mock Tests, we will get you there. All with the full support of our CompTIA authorised Teachers who will provide personalised feedback to you after every Mock Test.

Our Mock Test Feedback is also personalised to you and your Mock Test Teachers will break down the areas that you are strong in and the areas that you need to study up on. Each Mock Test you take will see your results improve each time. Even if we lose a few points compared to our previous Mock Test it doesn’t matter as it’s all part of the revision process. You will also receive in-depth feedback once we have enough questions and answers to analyse which will enable us to direct you further to specific areas that we are losing points on. This is why IT Certify have an industry leading 98% pass rate.

4. Practical Experience with Practice Labs

Practice Labs use Cloud systems (just like when you work in IT) to enable you to connect to live equipment such as routers, networks, switches and allow you to troubleshoot, fix and break things. Anything you are unsure of you just hit the reset button and start again. This is very important as you will find IT is all about things breaking and you having to fix them, also known as Trouble Shooting. Employers really value this practical experience as it proves you are ready to go and hit the ground running.

Employers want it all. They don’t expect you to know everything as they will provide training to you when you start working with them. But they do expect you to know the fundamentals of knowing how to fix IT issues as they don’t want to spend extra time training people to know how to fix basic trouble shooting issues as this costs employers time and money. Employers want you to save them time and money, not make them spend it on you.

5. Your CV is now IT specific

Every thing you do in our programme is enabling us to build you a new CV. The professional and accredited IT courses you complete will allow us to list these as skills on your CV, this will pretty much make up 50% of the first page of your CV Build.

The next 20% of your CV Build will be the official CompTIA A+ exams.

The remaining 30% will be the practical experience that you have gained from the practice labs included.

The second page of your CV will consist of all of your previous work experience and skills that you have gained over the years.

6. Your CV is now able to beat Job Board Filters Systems and Algorithms

The “old days” of employers reading your CV are finished. The reason being it is simply too easy to apply for jobs now. All you do is tick a box for the job you want to apply for and you can apply for 20 – 30 jobs in around 5 minutes and your CV attaches automatically. Many candidates will also apply for jobs without even reading the job description as quite rightly they think that “the more jobs I apply for the better chance I have”.

As a result employers will literally receive hundreds of applications every day. As a result employers on job boards simply can’t read all of the CV’s that they receive as it is simply too time consuming. Instead employers set their key word and skills criteria to only look at CV’s that are awarded a 4 star or 5 star match when a CV is sent. This means that if your CV is not a 4 star or 5 star CV it won’t even get looked at.

This is why when you break down our Job Programmes you will find that your CV matches all of the key words and key skills that employers are looking for. This is super important as most students do not study for fun, but to be able to begin a career in IT when they finish. This is why we build your CV for you as if we don’t the danger is you have done all the hard work with studying the IT courses, revising with the mock tests, passing the exams and completing the practical experience. But if no-body is looking at your CV we would argue that it has all been a waste of time.

7. Your now a Graduate from a CompTIA Authorised Partner Programme

Becoming a Graduate from a CompTIA Authorised Partner Programme provides a lot of value to employers. They now know that not only do you know how to troubleshoot IT issues but you know how to fix them in the safest way possible.

But your biggest asset now is that you have broad appeal to every employer which is why you are getting so many interviews. CompTIA are a “vendor neutral” industry award body this means that everything you study can be applied to any hardware and any software. Cisco, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services on the other hand are “vendor specific”. This means that if an employer isn’t using Cisco, Microsoft or Amazon Web Services software or hardware then they are simply not interested in you.

When you want to begin your career in IT you need to have as much broad appeal to EVERY employer and therefore this is why we include so many CompTIA courses as you don’t want to limit yourself when you are applying for jobs. After 6 months to a year of working in IT then yes you would then look to specialise more. But at this stage your priority is to get your foot in the door and start working in IT which is why our Job Programmes have a 95% success rate.

8. Your Personal Reference in addition to CV build

Employers love references and this is why we provide our graduates with references when they graduate with us. This gives you a great competitor advantage over other candidates as it shows employers how well you have done and also impresses them that you are being pro-active and saving them time from having to request one in the future from you.

This also encourages employers to call us so that they can verify your details with us. Needless to say we are very proud of all of our Graduates as we know all of the hard work you have done and the accomplishments that you have  achieved which employers love to hear.
